Company

SRM is a midsized, family-owned Swiss company. A second production plant in India enables us to offer high manufacturing depth and to process large volumes.

History

SRM was founded in 1982 as Strebel + Rützler Mechanik AG in Stallikon near Zurich. After the takeover of Müller Feinmechanik AG in 2000, the company was renamed to SRM Präzisionsmechanik AG and today appears under the name SRM – Production & Assembly.

The future

SRM is a family-owned company and will remain so. Simon and Fabian Strebel have worked in the company for some time now and are gradually assuming the management of it. A further future success factor is the joint commitment with the Swiss-Indian married investor couple, Ursula and Dr Rajendra Joshi. This partnership has enabled us to place an additional production plant in operation in India.

Training

We highly value solid training: ten apprentices are being trained in the Merenschwand plant in a separate workshop with its own machinery, looked after by a fully certified apprentice instructor.

Our commitment

Our commitment

There are several handicapped people working at SRM. They are fully integrated in the workplace routine and contribute to the company's success. The local employees in India on the Bharatiya Skill Development Campus receive basic training as polytechnicians in accordance with Swiss standards. The school and the plant are at the same location.

Learn with us

In the training workshop, as well in the plant, we offer training spots for 10 polytechnicians. Polytechnician is a challenging and very varied occupation. It is the ideal combination of craft and the latest computer technology. Consequently, polytechnicians have the best possible opportunities for further training.
